Animals benefit greatly from Reiki Healing and it is a great joy to treat them.
Reiki induces a state of calm, and what we humans would call happiness and contentment, in animals. Reiki will help an animal to heal itself, just as it helps us to heal our own bodies, and will also help to ease an animal's pain.
Animals have no preconceptions or belief systems, which means that the healing energy can begin flowing immediately as it encounters no "blockages". Animals have chakra centres, just as we do, and Reiki will balance these and open them up so that the universal healing rays will flow smoothly and easily to the problem areas.
An animal will also know when he or she has had enough, and will move away from the healer's hands when they are ready. For this reason I put no time limit an animal healing session - the animal decides.
If you feel that your pet needs something more than conventional veterinary treatment, do consider a Reiki healing session. In most cases the owner will see a marked difference in the animal's behaviour after a Reiki session.
However, it is very important to remember that I am neither a Doctor nor a Vet and will not diagnose illnesses or recommend a particular treatment. Reiki is COMPLEMENTARY healing, which means that it can enhance the effectiveness of traditional treatments and medicines and induce a feeling of wellbeing.
